All too true. I lost my career to robots way back in the late 80s. Fortunately the inventor of robot radio was a former radio personality so at least it could fool the listeners for awhile. Back when radio mattered.

I think you're missing some of the finer points of robot replacements...like robots to clean the toilets and robots vacuum (Roomba, anyone?). I'd love those.
Robots to guard things...now that just becomes a recipe for disaster. Hasn't anyone seen ANY sci-fi movie?
